Welcome!
Welcome back to Kutztown University and welcome to all the new students to a wonderful education experience. Last Semester as some of you know we successfully implemented the new message board on our site that allowed faculty and students to use and discuss topics from classes and other areas around school.
We also had a very fun and successful "Guitar Hero II" competition that led to the winning of some cool prizes. More events like this will be coming soon, so please keep checking the site, and watching the campus for flyers.
Last semester, Kutztown University hosted the 23rd annual spring conference of the Pennsylvania Computer and Information Science Educators (PACISE). The organization represents faculty in all areas of computing and computing education in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The theme for the 2008 conference was Intelligent Agents. Several members of the KTA participated in the programming competition in which teams from other institutions competed against each other. This was an exciting semester, and this coming semester should be just as exciting. The KTA hopes that everyone gets off to a great start. If anyone has any questions please feel free to e-mail the group: kta@kutztown.edu.
About us
For some of you who do not know what the KTA is all about, let me give you a quick explanation of what our overall goal and purpose is. Our purpose has always been to strive to bring people together from all different backgrounds with interests in all aspects of computers and technology to learn from one another and to have a fun and enjoyable time while doing so.
If this sounds like a group for you or just something you would like to check out, come to one of our meetings and see first hand what we are all about, and bring a friend. We welcome everyone, and all kinds of suggestions and ideas.
Hope to see you there!
